Called for a quote to replace my Audi's rotors. Dealer told me they were warped and needed replacing and quoted me for $3800. Pacific German got back to me right away and said it was only about $2080. I scheduled, and brought my vehicle in but they didn't tell me they only scheduled me for an inspection and something about a 30 min time frame. I dropped the car off and I was expecting to have them contact me as soon as the inspection was done, to confirm if we should move forward with actual work. Dropped the car off at 9am and I didn't get a call back until 1:15pm saying my brakes actually looked fine and didn't need replacing. While that was good news for me, it was still disappointing to have waited all that time just to hear that news. Some people have lives they need to get on with and require their cars so it would've been nice if they inspected it and told me instead of having me wait around for 4 hours. I used to bring my Volkswagens here for service and would use them again. Just an odd circumstance when the car spudders and the mechanic tells us there's nothing wrong with the car.
Hey Christen Sterba
I normally don't comment on these reviews so my comment to you will be pretty moot. For the record there are no appointments. Only reserved day slots. Four hours (SAME DAY) doesn't really sound that bad. I'd feel a little worse if you waited till 6pm to find you in fact needed brakes. But I get it we live in a fast paced world where everyone needs their car and no one is willing to be car-less. With the options of public transportation and car services I can only hope you weren't too inconvenienced.
