They ran full diagnostics on my Allroad and worked up a very thorough (and fair) estimate. We scheduled the repairs and they got me into a rental car while the work was done. I couldn't ask for a better experience dealing with such a crappy situation! I would recommend these guys to anyone who owns an Audi or VW that they really care about! The quality of work here is probably 2nd to none in Orange County for my VW. Tyler was extremely professional and helpful as always. A quick visit and my driving nuisance of misalignment is GONE for Good. If you want services done right on your VWs, don't bother with other nonspecialist shops, come to Pacific German and spend (and save in the process) your $$$. If I could make one suggestion, it would be the scheduling aspect. Sent an email to request an appointment, but after a week with no response, I had to call in for an appointment but was told I needed to send another email :(. But they were accommodating and give me an appointment via phone. However, because I was too annoyed by my car pulling to the right, Tyler found a time to fit me in asap. Such a great shop that it should set the standards of auto-repair everywhere: in orange county, in the US, in the WORLD, & in the UNIVERSE. Hola, I've been going to these guys for years. They do great work and are very knowledgeable. The new facility is really nice and well located near the 405. I would recommend these guys over the VW dealer any day as they also can do warranty work. JP

So my car, is old and very worn down. I was driving when I suddenly saw smoke pouring from my engine, it turned out a cap had just come off so I put it back on and then the next day the car started making a loud noise and the oil light came on, so I checked the oil and the coolant, both levels were fine. Called my dad (who owns a car repair shop in norcal) and he told me if it is a pressure problem I need to stop driving. So I had it towed to a different shop in lake forest. They called me the next day and said there was nothing wrong with it. So I picked it up then next day same thing happened, I called a different place and they refused to even look at my car because the miles were too high. So my dad did some yelp research and led me to this place where my friend recently just had her car fixed Pacific German. They recommended a towing company and I had my car towed there and the staff was very friendly and said they would call me with a quote. I received a quote with a thorough explanation of everything wrong, which is a lot because my car has been through hell and back. However since my car cost less than what it would cost to fix we talked with them and we were able to come up with a solution fixing just the bare minimum to get it running. The owner was great explaining everything that was wrong and going out of his way to make sure I had a safe vehicle. I would highly recommend this shop they do quality honest work, they were not trying to rip me off or sell me anything even though i gave them a huge project like my car. The price was very fair. All in all they were great. Even after the difficult project my car was this shop was able to work with me and get my car up and running within a day of giving me the quote. This place is the best, they took great care of my car when I took it in for my 40,000 mile service. They have fantastic customer service skills, and everyone I talk to is very nice. I also took in my first car to them, and Shawn was very honest about what was wrong with it, and im so happy I took it them. I got rid of the car, and now I have an 09 gti and it drives like new thanks Pacific German. Thanks for the awesome help guys!

1 photo It was my first visit today. I loved this place!! These people are honest about their parts, and will give you advice about other places that might try to over-charge you. I bought my Audi parts (front brakes and both front rotors) from them to put on myself, and WOW!! What a spectacular price! I have to buy all original equipment, because my car is an Audi and no after-market parts will do! I will come here from now on. Their price was cheaper than any others. I called in because I needed to buy some parts, and was told it would be an hour and half before they would get there. I didn't want to go all the way home, so I went over right away and told them I would be waiting in my car outside in case the parts got there a little earlier. I should've gotten the man's name!! He came back with the parts 15 minutes after I arrived and told me he picked them up so I wouldn't have to wait. What a surprise. Got them an hour earlier than the original time. I WILL BE BUYING ALL PARTS FROM HERE FROM NOW ON!!!

So I went to the McKenna in HB for my 2010 VW CC's tail light and the sales rep brings up the 40k mile service so I ask him how much it is. He quotes me $399 labor included. So I contact Tyler from PG and he tells me it's too cheap, especially considering my CC is automatic with the DSG transmission. I call McKenna back and I mention that, they quote me another $399 for the DSG tune up... I called into PG and I believe I spoke with Shawn. He quoted $549 and I booked an appointment for the following morning. I retrieved my car this evening and it's feeling good as new, and it ended up being $547 so they left 2 bucks on my seat!! Free license plate frame too! Very good experience and they saved me $250! 5 stars

I usually don't take the time of day to write reviews, especially one for a mechanic shop but I can confidently say that this shop has proven many times over that they do honest work at great prices. I trust my audi in their hands and am happy to see both Shawn and Tyler carry out their passion for their cars to mine.

This is my first yelp review, and this place deserves it because they are like magic! I have a 2006 vw jetta and the power steering light came on. I called Pacific German one night as they were closing to see if I could bring my car in early the next morning, and with no hesitation the owner said that wouldn't be a problem. After taking time out of their already full schedule to look at my car they told me that there was a hole in the catalytic converter, and the exhaust was hitting the steering rack causing a potential fire hazard. Also, my car needed a new brake mechanical booster vacuum because it leaked oil. After hearing all of this I was really worried about the price and the amount of time this would take considering he had earlier told me they didn't have any available appointments for two weeks. However, the owner was extremely accommodating and told me that because it was such a serious problem he would work my car into their schedule. My car was done after just a day and a half and is driving better than ever! They also gave me a really good deal on both the parts and the labor! This is by far the best shop I have taken my car to here in orange county and I would recommend it to anyone looking to have work done on their vw or audi! Thank you Pacific German!

1 check-in Shawn knows his stuff and is a straight-forward, honest guy, and that's what you want in someone working on your vehicle aside from just knowledge and skill. He'll be doing some work on our 2007 Passat and I wouldn't trust anyone else. FYI - We found the shop on VWVortex.
