What I thought was going to be ordinary and or , took a first to thebe the case. They took the time to explain as well as showed to me the problem, most importantl, what could happen if I ignored it and why I need to address it. Excellent and above Amazing service I recently purchased a used V10 R8. I took it to Pacific German for an oil service and to do a quick check. Shawn the owner is an R8 enthusiast and has owned four of them. Shawn quickly took lead on my car and they were able to find and diagnose a significant oil leak as well as a major service that was missed by the previous owner. They ordered all the parts. Sent me videos showing the leak and the repairs needed. The car runs better than I left it and above all Pacific German back all their service with a 24 month warranty.... in all these years I have never heard of such a warranty in any service shop! This in it self instills confidence in their work. Thank you Shawn and Pacific German. You have a customer for life.

My first check engine light service lasted 7 hours. I was not provided an update and noticed the business was closing. I called to be told I have to leave my car and the problem was not yet solved. I couldn’t leave my car as I do not have another mode of transport to get to work. I received an oil change and a leak detection pump I’m uncertain if I needed because the check engine light is still on (it goes on and off due to issue not known). I’m unable to keep ordering parts I may not need to know what can be causing my check engine light to remain on. The leak detection pump replacement and carbon canister did not resolve the issue. This could’ve saved myself money getting a better diagnosis and fixing the issue. I will have to continue driving with my check engine light on.

i would give 5 stars if i didn’t have to wait 8 hours to get a tune. i gave the notice before my appointment, that if it would take longer than 5 hours to get the work done, to please reschedule my visit. the man at the desk assured me that it would be done within the time frame i specified, and then when 5 hours hit i asked again “how much longer?” they kept giving me false estimates. i don’t like when an employee can’t just be straight up with me. if it’s gonna take longer cant they just let me know that i’m advance? every time i asked they would tell me it’s “almost done” and it never was until the manager spoke to the worker. so i’m assuming i wasn’t a priority which is something that i do NOT tolerate. i will not be returning to get work done here which is sad because the workmanship is really good.
