I purchased a used VW Tiguan from a large dealership 50 miles away. During my drive home I noticed a few noises that I didn't hear during the test drive, and it just didn't feel quite right or handle like I expected it to. I had a 30 day limited warranty, so I took it back to the dealer who said they fixed it, but didn't. It still made all the same noises and felt the same driving home. I wasn't about to drive up there again and my 30 days were almost up, so I decided to take it to Pacific German for a bumper to bumper check. As they advertise, they found many more things wrong with the car than a dealership will ever find. I decided to have them take care of everything immediately and work it out with the dealership afterwards. It took two full days and they were kind enough to give me a rental car during that time. When I picked it up, it immediately felt different and handled like a German engineered car should. I had to fight with the dealership to reimburse me the 50% of the warrantied items. Sean was patient enough to explain everything to me and highlight the items that should be covered so that when I went to the Bureau of Automotive Repair, I was able to get everything resolved with the dealership. As a woman, it's important to have a mechanic that I trust. Pacific German definitely has a customer for life! Comment from Shawn S. of Pacific German Business Owner 6/30/2017I'm so glad we were able to assist you and that you are pleased with our service. It's unfortunate that you had to go through such an ordeal with the dealership you bought your VW from. This is one of the reasons we strongly suggest having a pre-purchase inspection performed on any vehicle you are interested in buying. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a great review! We appreciate it! Read more
